October 3, 20205 yr Gets rid off the tile bar and any border around the window, looks like full screen, border-less window, useful for multi monitor set up and those that like to switch between windows while flying. There is a program called "borderless gaming" but i had no luck with it, this is simple and works very well. 1. Download and install this little program https://www.autohotkey.com/ 2. Once installed Right Click on desktop > New > AutoHotkey Script 3. Name it whatever you want and open in notepad add this text below what is already written there ^q:: WinSet, Style, -0xC00000, A return 4. Save and close the notepad. 5. Double click the file you created. You will not see anything happen BUT you should see an "H" icon in your hidden task bar running programs when you press this ^ arrow up just left to your clock on task bar... just to verify the script is active. 6. Maximize your MSFS window then press CTRL+Q you may have to press twice or 3 times MSFS is little finicky but it usually works for me on the 2nd press just make sure it is the MSFS window that is active window. NOTE: ^q means CTRL+Q if you use ^m it would use CTRL+M you can choose whatever you want also SHIFT etc. can be used look up tut video on YouTube about AutHotkey if you want yo use other key. Sometimes if you change change menu often in sim load new flights etc. window my revert to border window with ugly title bar on top just press CTRL+Q or whatever you chose again. This option is IMO 100 times better then Full Screen especially when you have NavMap or something running on the other monitor, you can even move checklist out to the other monitor and avoid flickering and issues that might happen when you use FullScreen. BONUS: This works for any window you want displayed without border not just MSFS, probably all of them and other games as well. Any window that is active at the time you decide to pres your key (ctrl+Q) will become borderless. so make sure it is the window you want before pressing the key 🙂 Enjoy.
