November 6, 200619 yr I was never much into the FS helis, but had a work related trip in the left hand seat of a real-life Squirrel recently (tough I know!)Mentioned to the pilot that whenever I try and land an FS heli I get near to the ground hovver and then start drifting backwards. He said he'd tried FS and it was much harder than real life, the choppers were impossible to hovver in ground effect. What do you think? And is there a good add-on helicopter for FSX that is more realistic/stable for ground hovering.
November 6, 200619 yr Author It is difficult to hover. The only tip I can offer is to set realism to Easy and practice a lot. I find the Bell206 easier than the R22.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2.5 ghz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (94.47), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
