Hello together.

Did anyone tried to install (compile) LNM on a RasPi 4?

Since a odd project from me failed i think about using my RasPi for LNM.
But before spend hours of wasted time i like to ask if someone else tried it already?

The power the 4 GB Version should be good enough i assume, at the other hand the missing simconnect interface is a potential showstopper  🤨.

So, any experience here?

Hi Alex.

Thanks for response.

Basically i would like to stay with Raspbian 32 bit first. Raspbian OS 64 bit is currently beta, so without good experience (i´m not really experienced with Linux)  it´s an even bigger risk.

Ubuntu is also long time ago that i used it.

But i will give that experiment a try, buy a few Micro SD Card, so i can switch fast between different usercases..

*sigh*

As expected, there´s never an easy way for me.

Sometimes it ends ridiculous: To get a 64 bit enviroment i  flashed to Ubuntu Mate 20.01
But Ubuntu will not Boot at my 20" Samsung Monitor, other than Raspberry OS.

For a tenth of a second a message appear that the resolution is not suitable, recommend 1680x1050.
word not allowed, THIS IS THE NATIVE RES OF THIS MONITOR!

I assume, this is caused by the HDMI to DVI Adapter, because the System boots at any of my Desktop Monitors with the same Resolution, but directly equipped with HDMI.
So, i think, i need to wait for Raspberry OS 64bit and try it again.
