Sandbox area?

Featured Replies

I hope you all know what I mean by 'Sandbox'.  (An area where you can test adjustments without entering a program).

I am still new to the sim but I have noticed that, after reassigning stick buttons there is nowhere to go to check that the assignments are okay.  It seems that you have to go into the sim, live, to find out if they have 'taken'., then leave to adjust if they have not.

Seems a long way round to get your settings checked.  Is there a way of avoiding this long winded process?

Cheers

I'm not sure what you mean.  You can from the setup screen change the filters to "assigned".  Expand out the assigned mappings and then test them using your controller.  They will "light up". when pressed.  Also you can test axis in the same way.   So if you assigned a throttle axis, after you confirmed the changes you can then move the throttle and see the axis adjust.   If you map something to button 2 and then press button 2 on the joy stick, you should see that assignment highlight when you press it.

Just what I am looking for.  Thanks for that.  As I said, I am still getting around the settings.
