October 16, 20205 yr I was able setup my "hat" switch to view freely around the plane externally. How do you lock the view, so that when the plane changes pitch or angle the camera stays with the plane...? As it is now the camera drifts. If I could set it to the nose, that would be great. Any idea's ?
October 16, 20205 yr The closest I can find is General>Camera>POV Reset. When set to Automatic, after using the hat switch, the view returns to chase cam, directly behind the aircraft's tail, as soon as you let go of the hat switch. Doe mean you have to hold it in position if you want to use a certain view for a while though. Seems to be an age-old problem with MS flight sims. Not sure if it was intended for realism, as though a real aircraft was filming you, or just a coding issue. October 16, 20205 yr Use a cockpit camera and move it outside the plane. You can set camera position anywhere, to see what you want.See my post Edited October 16, 20205 yr by ctdlg link
