October 18, 20205 yr Creating a manual cache area at High resolution takes up exponentially more disk space than Medium or Low settings (not to mention it's quite a bit more tedious to create). I'm not sure at what point I benefit from a higher versus lower saved scenery area resolution. Assuming I use the highest Terrain LOD setting (200 IIRC)and I'm regularly flying over and area, at what points (Altitude?) does the sim load medium or high resolution scenery? Does screen resolution setting factor into it? You can set it to 900 manually.
