The default flight loads the aircraft in VC view and even if I save a new default flight from 2D view, I still find I am in VC view on loading.Can anyone point me towards the change necessary to load in 2d view - as needed by some add-ons.Many thanksJohn Rooum

Strange, my problem is just the opposite. With VC set as the default view, it still loads in the 2d view.

Try going to Display Settings, Aircraft tab, select 2D or 3D default cockpit view option.
