iFly B737 install into P3Dv4.5
Sorry - replied in my phone and did not see it was a P3D problem. But the same process applies as a first step unibstall - reboot - reinstall

Would you use a fully voice-controlled checklist tool?
Looks an impressive addon. I remember the old FS Labs copilot programme was very effective - a pity it wasn’t progressed. One comment - see no Boeing checklists?

How?- MSFS2024 seen by a grumpy old man
Old but not grumpy - but I do wonder why.? “Change for changes sake” or do people see a significant benefits in the new GUI, control settings etc etc- FlyByWire Simulations | A32NX | Performance Calculator
Just tried a third route and the calculator worked perfectly - so something in those first two routes must be the problem. I’ll do some digging!- FlyByWire Simulations | A32NX | Performance Calculator
Thanks - I’ll take a shot but the problem is that even with all details input, the “calculate” button is still dim and not active.- FlyByWire Simulations | A32NX | Performance Calculator
Appreciate this is an old thread but I have just come back to FBW and have a problem with the new calculator. I have read the documentation several times and everything appears to run perfectly in iuploading all the data from the OFP and metar. Yet the calculate button remains inactive. My FBW install is the latest development version and I have other routes - all with no success. Must be missing something so v grateful for any help.- Cannot reinstall iFly 737 Max8
Support is currently provided on the Flight One Discord channels - you would have used Discord when you bought the Max8.- FSX Crashes during loading
Maarten Starting outside of Simlauncherx. Very odd because the crash was happening within 3 seconds of starting FSX.exe. Not even sure it was simlauncherx - might have been a coincidence - we all know what computers are like! I've reinstalled FSX and it's running ok. And I only really want to use simlauncherx on a client machine so I'll stay with that and take it slowly until the gremlins in the client/server connection are worked out Many thanks John- FSX Crashes during loading
Initially tried simlauncherx on my network but as I was having problems fully connecting - could not save flight palns or "see" FSX flights etc, I decided to try on my main FSX computer. Sinlauncher instaled correctly but when I tried to start FSX {manually} it crashed during the first few seconds after starting to load. So far I have tried: Uninstalled Sinlauncher including deleting all folder - no change Rebuild FSX.cfg - no change Sytem Restore to before installing Simlauncher - no change There seems to be nothing significant in the crash message other that referring to FSX.exe Having never seen this in many years with FSX, grateful for any advice before I try a full reinstall Many thanks John R- The King is Back, and will regain his throne
Johnny Very well said. I cut my FS teeth on the old PSS Airbus and - as you say - at that time it was "state of the art". It was a great shame that the company folded and particularly in the way it happened. But the quality of their work in those days has been shown in the way the forum here at AVSIM has continued and is still active many years later - to the extent that the old PSS 777 is still favourably compared with the latest FSX releases (PMDG excepted of course once they release). The same applied to the 757 and it's a pity the FSX 757 upgrade which was being worked did not get released. The Prologue/Extreme approach understandably raises questions in some minds but I can see the benefits for a new business, and their use of Facebook seems very successful. So for myself I wish them the very best and will support them - as I like to do with all new developers who move our hobby forward. John R- [RESOLVED] An suggestion to add theme selection for mobile devices
This seems to happen every time there is a software upgrade - whenever you load it on an IPad, Avsim comes up in mobile mode irrespective of previously changing to full mode. Previously it sorted itself out a few days after the upgrade. John R- SquawkBox 4 now working & starting in P3D within sim!
Hi, Has anyone managed to get the transponder/com panel in view when in full screen mode? That's the one SB4 facility I cannot get to work. John R- SB4 Installation
Rendi, That's interesting - I have never seen that with SB4 in FSX {which is why I didn't search too deeply}. I do recall that some add-ons do sometimes have this problem but it can usually be fixed - although like you I can't remember how we did it. Also noticed a screengrab on one forum showing how SB4 was fully working in P3D but the shot did not have the con display. And, as you say, SB4 has been with us a long time - but I'll keep digging Regards John R- SB4 Installation
Rendi Are you seeing the SB4 Com Panel on top of the P3d display as I asked in my top post? John R- SB4 Installation
Hi Phil, I normally run SB4 on two systems through a network. As far as the P3D problems are concerned , it doesn't matter which option you choose. Using either method: 1. The Com/IFF panel does not appear in the P3D window but is behind it {a probl;em seen with other add-ons in FS9/x sometimes but I have forgotten how we fixed it. 2. The SB4 message strip across the top of the FS window does not appear with P3d 3. On closing, P3d crashes with as "SB xxx.dll unloaded" error On the good side, I see other traffic in P3D and the cos interface appears to work correctly. John R- SB4 Installation
I run SB4 on a networked computer and, using the hints in several threads here, I have it running well with P3D except for one problem. Once connected, the SB4 Com Overlay appears on the P3D computer but behind the P3D display - I can only see it by using window mode and reducing the size of the P3D window. And of course I cannot use it in full screen {unlike FSX}. No one seems to have met this problem so v grateful for any help. John R- FSX Black Box Simulation A320
Stephen I'm pretty sure that he is nothing to do with BBS - simply a newcomer trying to help and reacting to the rather impolitic suggestion on the BBS facebook page. For myself, the old PSS Airbus was my first serious add-on when I started into the hobby - it was more years ago than I care to remember but it was Win ME! Hence, I'm trying their latest version both for old times' sake and to see how they manage a new development using this "Prologue' to "Extreme" concept/busines model. They have taken on quite a challenge but so far the vibes are good. John R- Airsimmer question
"Ben, what APU Ctd are you talking about? First I have heard of it. 1% flying is bit misleading don't you think?" Come on Rob - even you must know about the APU CTD. We all know about it and the workaround but its still there. - Need a networking Guru
