August 31, 2025Aug 31 Many sim pilots have been asking for it: a proper co-pilot style checklist that is read out automatically, step by step, with callouts and responses. For some, it adds immersion and makes the cockpit feel alive, while for others it’s a great way to learn procedures without constantly looking back and forth at a written list. This kind of discussion comes up again and again – people want a program that can handle checklists purely by voice. Have you ever checked out this one? Checklist Reader – Voice Controlled Checklist Tool https://flightsim.to/file/96054/checklist-reader-voice-controlled-checklist-tool-beta-v1-0-0 It’s a standalone program that brings exactly that experience. It has two modes: Interactive mode, where you can respond to the checklist callouts yourself. Fully automatic mode, where the entire checklist is read out, including callouts and responses, hands-free. It runs quietly in the background alongside your simulator, and there are already several checklist bundles available for the most popular aircraft. Until such features are built into simulators directly, this seems like a solid alternative. Would you give it a try?

August 31, 2025Aug 31 Administrators I have moved your topic to where a first time product advertisement goes here on AVSIM. I see it's a freeware product, but you are also soliciting donations. It should get plenty of views here in this forum location. Please do not post more of this type of post in any more of the Sim forums. September 1, 2025Sep 1 I would only be interested if it is possible to use it without micro, only with hot key aknowleges. P3DV6 only, AxisAndOhs Gérard

I was always hunting for something similar to the FE checklists from the Felis, I'll give this a go once there's support for the MD80. Definitely has my interest. https://flightsim.to/file/34669/md-82-fly-the-maddog-x-guide-checklist-procedures This is the checklist I follow Edited September 1, 2025Sep 1 by Lucky38i
September 1, 2025Sep 1 Looks an impressive addon. I remember the old FS Labs copilot programme was very effective - a pity it wasn’t progressed. One comment - see no Boeing checklists?
September 1, 2025Sep 1 Say Intentions also has this type of oral checklist for some aircraft built into its ATC. Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.
September 2, 2025Sep 2 I don't like the digital voice, so it's a no for me. Sounds like something from 1998
September 2, 2025Sep 2 I will have a look at it I am in need of something for my single seat 737 cockpit to add more realism. JetLine Systems Gravity GT2-Windows 10 Home Edition (64-Bit), NZXT H500 Mid-Tower, Black, Gigabyte Aorus Z390 PRO WIFI, LGA 1151, Intel 9th Gen Core i9 9900K (5.0GHz Turbo) 8 Core / 16 Thread, Corsair Hydro H60 120mm Liquid Cooling, 32GB Corsair DDR4 SDRAM 3000MHz RGB, 12GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, GDDR6, 750 Watt Corsair RM Series Power Supply, 5.1 Channel Realtek Integrated HD Audio, Primary SSD Drive:1TB Samsung 970 EVO, M.2 NVMe PCIe (SSD), Secondary SSD Drive:2TB Samsung 970 EVO, M.2 NVMe PCIe (SSD) 4TB WD Black 7200 RPM Mechanical , SimOn Solutions 737 Professional Compact Trainer (MIP, OH). September 2, 2025Sep 2 Author In the additional 737 bundle (separate download on flightsim.to), you will find several different 737 models. You can choose your preferred one as a checklist and directly select it at startup. If you like, you can also enable Expert Mode, which allows you to completely replace the beginner-style predefined responses with your own custom ones. This can be configured in the program settings. A quick look at the included short manual is very helpful, and downloading the 737 bundle is definitely recommended.
September 2, 2025Sep 2 Author I have to agree with you – the digital voices don’t sound great. Unfortunately, I haven’t found any other free voices so far that could be used as an alternative.
September 2, 2025Sep 2 Author I am currently creating new checklists based on user requests. If anyone has a specific aircraft they would like to see, I’d be happy to make it – I have my own tools for this and can usually prepare them quite quickly. There are already some Boeing checklists available, but of course some key ones are still missing, such as the 747 and others. But the 777 and 737 are already available as separate bundles for download on FlightSim.to. If you’d like to request more, just drop me a line at [email protected].
September 2, 2025Sep 2 Author Thanks for your feedback! I will prepare a bundle that covers the different MD-80 variants, not just the MD-82. This will include the MD-81, MD-82, MD-83, MD-87 and MD-88, so you can directly choose the version you are flying. JD has kindly allowed me to use his checklist as inspiration, but I’ll also enrich it with information from official sources, adding Abnormals and Emergency checklist sections.
September 3, 2025Sep 3 Author The full checklist bundle for the MADDOG (MD-81/82/83/87/88) is now available – covering Normal, Abnormal & Emergency Procedures. Check it out if you haven’t seen it yet! The question regarding hotkey control hasn’t been addressed yet: Yes, it is possible to control checklists via keyboard shortcuts. These act as actions and mirror the voice commands. In practice, you can press keys instead of speaking – but it’s not really recommended, since the core of the software is voice input. Just give it a try. The way to use the hotkeys is explained explicitly in the included manual.
