June 30, 20241 yr Hi there, Our A32NX now has a custom-built performance calculator tailored specifically to the A320neo. Available now on the Development version! Our calculator lets the pilots: Determine if the airplane can take off at the intended takeoff weight from a designated runway at a specified temperature, wind, and QNH setting using a specified airplane configuration and bleed settings (A/I and A/C); Determine the Flex temperature if a reduced thrust setting (Flex) can be used; Determine the appropriate takeoff speeds, V1, VR, and V2, for the conditions specified. Please note: We will be disabling the VSpeeds auto input LSK on the MCDU shortly on the Development version. We also intend to add takeoff performance uplink capability to the FMS in the future. See our documentation: https://docs.flybywiresim.com/flypad-performance/ Happy Flying!
June 30, 20241 yr Would love to see someone do a comparison between FBW/Simsmart/pradz and IRL tools.
June 30, 20241 yr Is that via a Simbrief API, using the Simbrief calculator? For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

November 29, 20241 yr Appreciate this is an old thread but I have just come back to FBW and have a problem with the new calculator. I have read the documentation several times and everything appears to run perfectly in iuploading all the data from the OFP and metar. Yet the calculate button remains inactive. My FBW install is the latest development version and I have other routes - all with no success. Must be missing something so v grateful for any help.

November 29, 20241 yr Thanks - I’ll take a shot but the problem is that even with all details input, the “calculate” button is still dim and not active.
November 29, 20241 yr Just tried a third route and the calculator worked perfectly - so something in those first two routes must be the problem. I’ll do some digging!
