  1. This video shows the tail oscillations that some Tomahawks suffered from during the stall/spin. It was accompanied by "oilcanning" - a loud metallic noise during the spin which frightened the word not allowed out of me! Far from a "killer aircraft" but one that demanded respect in the stall spin regime.
  2. So the answer to the OP question, so far, is that its down to personal taste and preference. 😁
  3. One way to improve the performance of FSLTL is, if you havent already, to reduce the texture resolution of the aircraft from 4K. I have reduced them to 2K and it certainly seems to help at airports.
  4. Its not mandatory but from my recently trial of the program, it does need a microphone to be installed to complete the setup properly. I connected an old moble phone headset then disconnected it and never had need for it again.
  5. 320SimPilot somehow manages to be knowledgeable, entertaining, honest and self deprecating at the same time. If hes not sure of something, he will say so. No bluff and bluster. Ive learned a huge amount from watching his videos and live streams.
  6. Seems not. From their web page "Offline Voice Model - Generate voices locally using our custom AI engine. Uses ZERO Transmission Time. Never spend another dime on voices if you don't want to. This system does not use windows SAPI."
  7. I have experienced some delayed responses recently when using FSHUD but nothing as bad as you describe. It is probably worth opening a support ticket with them or posting on their forums, which can be found here https://www.simforums.com/forums/
  8. Ah the "Traumahawk". Managed to avoid to while learning to fly. Its reputation for refusing to exit a spin while making it sound as if you were trapped inside a drum that someone was banging was off putting to say the least. Day 1 buy for me 😉
  9. I have to agree that for me too, the G1000 is very awkward to use with a mouse to the extent that I avoid flying aircraft that use it, preferring the ease of use of the GTN750, G3000 or G5000. I had a look at and in the future may buy an Octavi - IFR-1 to make life with the G1000 easier.
  10. Aha! Now there is a good question! I think you would need to take a note of the version you were on before you swapped in the newer one you wish to try. That way you can then swap back to that version if things are not to your liking. There is no way that I know of to automatically regress to your previous version.
  11. 3.5.10.0 seems to be the latest and greatest and the one recommended in the OP video.
  12. @CaptBillyBob - a quick look at his channel and related information shows that he very much is a qualified 737 pilot and doubtless an A330 pilot too. His real name is Emanuel Hagen,. He flew for a number of years with a European operator (Ryanair) on the 737 (data available on Linkedin) and was a "Tech Advisor" (Beta Tester) for PMDG . He changed jobs and obtained his A330 type rating. In the comments of one of his videos he explained that he bulk records his videos in his spare time, in between long haul flights and then queues them for upload to youtube. Those are the facts as I understand them. I take him at face value and enjoy his videos, though not always his stye of delivery!
  13. I have no idea. We have A330 Driver (ex 737 pilot) and A320 Sim Pilot (who is now a 787 pilot!). Flightdeck2sim (737 pilot) seems "neutral" 😉 Regardless, I think its great to have real world airline pilots giving us the benfit of their knowledge and still taking an interest in simulation.
