FSLTL Traffic Injector updated, now with realtraffic

FSLTL Traffic Injector 2.1.0 available in FBW Installer App

Live Traffic Data

- RealTraffic has been added a live traffic data provider!

- RealTraffic subscribers can add their API token to the FSLTL Injector settings to use RealTraffic live and parked aircraft data

- RealTraffic offers parked aircraft data and FSLTL injector will use this data to place parked static aircraft at airports based on this data

- If RealTraffic does not have parked data for an airport, the injector will use its built in statistical data to choose parked aircraft to inject

- To subscribe to RealTraffic, view their coverage and live data maps, visit https://flyrealtraffic.com

- For ADSB feeders, if you feed your data to RealTraffic, you'll receive a free upgrade from Standard to Pro license

- To select RealTraffic as your live data source, use the settings UI via prompt at injector startup or modify your config .json file manually

Settings UI

- A new dark/light mode toggle has been added

- A new font size toggle has been added to increase font size by 50%

New Features

- A new Default Sim Version setting has been added to the Settings UI

- Now you control which sim version the injector will assume you're using when the injector is started before the sim is running

- When the injector starts, if MSFS2020 or MSFS2024 is running, the injector will connect to that sim version

- When the injector starts, if no sim version us running, the injector will use your sim version setting to decide which sim connect to, Community folder to use, etc

- Default setting is MSFS2020

Improvements

- Improves using a matching static parked aircraft when injecting live traffic

- Improves correcting livery matching when aircraft is originally injected with a blank callsign, but live data adds a callsign later

- Flightplan creation: Added additional approach waypoint types to use

- Flightplandatabase: Query improvements to use more recently created flightplans

- Updated static parked historical data (May/June 2026)

Fixes

- Fix to flightplan creation process unable to process waypoints with empty lat/lon coordinates

Misc

- We've added a script to assist in changing the PUSHBACK setting for aircraft models in FSLTL Base Models to work around the existing pushback issue in MSFS2024

- Script is fix_pushback.py and is located in the FSLTL injector install directory

- Script is written in python; if your PC cannot run python scripts, internet resources can assist you

- Script will search each model, make changes as needed, and log those changes to a file in your injector log location

- This log can then be used to rollback the changes if/when Asobo fixes the pushback issue in MSFS2024

- If you've already made pushback changes to your models, this script will not offer any additional assistance

Known Sim Issues

- ALL existing sim issues continue to be an issue. We await Asobo fixes for those sim issues.

Does that mean it will now use the correct runways? I loved FSLTL but stopped using it because at airports like EGLL it would not use the correct runways. I now use PSXT, but sounds like FSLTL now does the same thing?

I find performance in PSXT very good...what's FSLTL now like in comparison?

AMD Ryzen™ 9 9900X3D, AM5, Zen 5, 12 Core, 24 Threads, 4.4GHz, 5.5GHz Turbo
64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz Corsair Vengeance
32GB GeForce® RTX 5090 Graphics Card

Since the FSLTL debacle I went to PSXT which was the best thing I ever did. Absolutely perfect! What should one think now about this latest FSLTL move, are they trying to compete with PSXT? These people are the ones who worked illegaly for years with stolen data from FR24 without talking about it. Perhaps this new activity demonstrates at best their minor state of mind.

Using PSXT for many years ( it exists 10 years now ! ) now and it still gets updates so it fits perfectly with every MSFS2024 update. I use it with every flight and sometimes just when plane spotting. It has many features and notjhomg comes close to it. I pay for a 1 year sunscription for Real Traffic and that's it.

Regarding FSTL : imho their product should be banned from every site and every forum. They made money by selling their product which used stolen data.

How did they make money? I don't use it any more but when I did it was free.

You are right and I was wrong. My aplogies for that. They did not make any money on this.

However, steeling data is a NoGo in my view. FR24 pays for the data, like RealTraffic.

So myself I will never support a team that releases a product which is based on stolen data.

The question is : what are all FSTL users going to do now they now this ….

They used an API which was open for everyone. And now FR24 closed it. And no money was made with this project. These are just a bunch of people doing that on their free time and provide it for free for everyone. That's the whole story.

Marc, you know better. FR24 never gave permission to third partjes to use their data for free. FR24 had written about FSTL at this forum.

It still doesn't come close to PSXT. I tried it out at YVR and it was missing so much compared to what PSXT was injecting. I also had no moving traffic on the ground after 12 mins of waiting and an FSLTL restart even. Aircraft that had already departed irl while FSLTL was running were still showing as parked etc.
