October 22, 20205 yr That got your attention!😉 I thought I'd fly to the most northerly airport with scheduled flights, Svalbard Airport in Norway. It's situated on an island north of the mainland. As I flew over the sea, I noticed the VFR map no longer moved. I proceeded past the last island before my destination and went off the VFR map altogether. When I reached the co-ordinates (the airport doesn't come up on the world map during flight planning), I could see signs of a runway burned into the Bing imagery, but no proper AI-created airport. So that's another for the list. I did manage to land safely. The snow-covered mountains and hills I overflew were very basic and kept regenerating new textures as I passed them, so it's an area that really needs work. My flight route Speaking of missing airports, perhaps we need a list of them, with ICAO codes, co-ordinates (they can be found by right clicking on Bing or Google maps or via Wikipedia usually), and whether it is known that they have been reported via Zendesk (updated if they get fixed or if a freeware/payware example exists). You can see why it got missed in the sim! Better in Google of course.
