Not always, but only if a reg code match is not possible.

In this case we ended up in step 5 in the livery matching process described in  Chapter  9 of the PSXT Manual.

There is not enough information  to get a match in the preceding 4 steps:

• No  livery with registration SE-RPG found..
• No ICAO airline code available + B738.
• No ICAO airline code available + similar types of a B738.
• No generic B738 available

Then we arrive at step 5 and a random airline of type B738 is drawn, in this case  RAM.

I guess this is the solution, then. I better set up a generic white livery for the B738.

Indeed, but having more registration codes is better.

Using wildcards helps to reduce the amount of work.
