Synch routes with pilot2atc and MSFS2020

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm facing with the problem in case of routes in msfs. Unfortunately I'm a little bit frustrated right now.

Let me say at firstIt's not a problem from p2a. It's working like it should. But maybe someone can help to find a workaround here.

What I found:

I get a route from simbrief, navigraph charts  or create a route from p2a directly which follow the latest airac cycle. Data are up to date in all tools (including navigraph beta for msfs).

But unfortunately msfs is Re-route the waypoints after enter approaches for example. So p2a is claiming that I'm off-course later on during flight.

It's totally crazy that the change of the way points seems to be different if the sids, stars and approaches are defined in msfs world map or within the MCDU (a320). Additionally there is a different behavior if flyby wire a320nx is used too. Further more some vias, stars and sids are listed twice and include different waypoints too (eg. EDDT ILS08L approach  via LANUM). Here LANUM is listed twice and one is with RNAV and the other is for ILS approach waypoints. Very confusing.

I know that p2a is able to export sid and star waypoints which is working too. But if do this it's not possible to change STAR quickly within MCDU during flight in case of weather change.

So I have to repeat myself. It's not caused by Pilot2ATC, but maybe someone is with a good idea how to handle  this until all these bugs are fixed in MSFS.

Kind regards and happy landings!

Peter
