Is there a collection of GA AI aircraft?

Featured Replies

Hey all,I'm wondering if anybody knows of a collection of GA aircraft for AI that are freely available? I'm looking at building my own GA AI traffic database (the defauly GA planes are horrid on frames). Before I start downloading individual GA aircraft and assigning flightplans, I was wondering if anybody knew of a package that contained such planes.Cheers,Kael

I use what Jim posted. They only problem is the lack of smaller single engine props and the planes show up in the Aircraft selection window.

Hi there,I use the excellent Ultimate GA packages plus Henry's really neat payware Cessna AI collection available here: http://htaimodels.com/projects.htmlKeep in mind that all AI packages that use common textures for light maps or other parts require a tweak to work properly in FSX: http://www.ultimatega.com/forum/forum1/1161.htmlCheers, Holger

Thanks for the tip Holger.

Also, the GA Traffic program by Markus Brunner is awesome (perhaps you already know about it), but be careful, it does what you tell it to do. It can be a dangerous frame killer in the wrong hands! I had it creating all sorts of traffic with my highest detail GA airplanes in a matter of minutes. It was awesome having all that traffic around, but, it kind of stunk running along at 3fps :)But it's really easy to use. There are lots and lots of low poly models out there on Avsim.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180
