Honshu Part I

Honshu Part I

We continue our Japan flights with the first flight at Honshu. The departure airport is Ozuk (RJOZ). We make a touch and go at Hofu (RJOF) and head towards Hiroshima. On the way, we pass the famous Itsukushima Shrine and the city of Hiroshima. We land at Hiroshima Intl. Airport (RJOA). We inspect the Tatara Bridge and land at Kasaoka (RJKS).  The next points of interest are the Shimotsuisetoo, Hitsuishijma, and Bisan-Seto Bridges. The next landing is at Takamatsu (RJOT). On the way to our next landing at Osaka Intl. Airport (RJOO) we see Himeji Castle, the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge, and the Kobe Port Tower. The Horyu-Ji Shrine is not easy to find but worth the search. We make a touch and go at Yao (RJOY), pass over the Universal Studios of Japan, and land at Kansai Intl. Airport (RJBB). The final destination for today is Tokushima (RJOS).

The POI mentioned above are included in MSFS. To enhance the scenery even more, these three addons are recommended (but not required):

City of Hiroshima

Universal Studios of Japan

City of Osaka

The route has a length of 358 miles and six landings. It is suitable for the TBM 930 or the CJ4, or aircraft with a similar cruise speed.

Recommend Departure time of 2:15PM local.
Estimated Flight Departure Time:  Wednesday 1900 UTC
