When you are sequestered in your house and are looking for new things to do sometimes your brain makes a suggestion.  This morning such a suggestion came to me and although this has probably been done by others several times over it was a first for me.

I decided to explore Manhattan Island in the Aircreation Ultralight.

Starting from LaGuardia I flew towards the North (I think) end of Central park and then turned toward the buildings.  I flew above and between and around them until I reached what I presume is Battery Park and then on to and around the Stature of Liberty.

Quite a fascinating trip.  The framerates remained quite good but I suffered a lot of skips and short pauses.  Not bad enough to abandon the trip but annoying none-the-less.  It was a different and sort of exciting little trip.  Enough so that I created a startup scenario parking my ultralight in a grassy area of Central Park so I could go back and do some more exploring.  That is probably illegal as hell, but it's my flight simulator and I make the rules.

Oh yeah!  I flew it in P3Dv5.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.
