November 7, 20205 yr Is this how the lights on the NAV gauges should be at night? The NAV lights just turns on the lights of the clock. I have to turn on the cabin lights to see what I have on this image. Thats it? Here is how it is on a real 172. Various night lighting. https://medium.com/@BradNewtonTV/im-learning-how-to-fly-at-night-in-a-cessna-172-29e693518964 Edited November 7, 20205 yr by Manny Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
November 7, 20205 yr It's a bug. You have to dial the gauge lights all the way down to zero (the clock backlight will go out), then when you increase them all the gauges will light up.

November 7, 20205 yr There are two dials on the panel partially hidden by the Pilot's yoke. The upper dial controls the gauge backlights (outer ring) and GPS knob/button backlights (inner ring). Unfortunately none of them control the GPS LCD display backlight.
