November 8, 20205 yr I bought a Logitech joystick 3d pro this summer but its Z axis(rudder) is already defect. Amazon agreed to refund me. Now I want to buy a higher quality joystick, preferably again one with 3 axis(roll, pitch and Yaw) any joystick you would recommend? It may cost more then the previous one(I was not sure I would enjoy it when I bought previous one therefore was max price low) Edited November 8, 20205 yr by Volpo
November 8, 20205 yr VKB Gladiator NXT- it's by far the best you can get not going into a high-level, all-metal-mechanism category. 3 axis with Hall-effect sensors, plus a variety of extra buttons/ encoders.

Thanks I ordered a VKB Gladiator GNX Premium but it might take awhile before it arrives, it seems that quite all joysticks are out of stock in Europe. I guess that the new lockdowns are causing extreme demand for them. It seems better quality then Logitech 3d pro.

And it's simply impossible to compare it with a 3d Pro: design- and qualitywise they are it the totally different leagues. Also the Premium version offers quite a number of options/ adjustments out of the box. And another important thing- it will be followed by a variety of additional modules, like the GNX-THQ throttle quadrant which is around the corner with GNX-SEM modules to follow...
