The problem is that a lot of folks can't be bothered to carefully reassign controls, keeping in mind the double-mapping. Hence, you get a lot of posts like: why do my reversers deploy when I lower my landing gear.

Do you think it's a good idea to clear everything out and start from scratch? I mean I guess I could create a keyboard profile and try it out.
