November 12, 20205 yr I have messed up my dual RXP GNS430s (Carenado A36 in P3D 4.5) in a re-installation. The RealsimGear 430 is working and buttons are addressing the COM2 unit. I need COM1 to be the primary unit that the RealsimGear hardware is linked to as I fly the A36 because it has an Aspen PFD (the same as in my RW aircraft) which needs to take GPS info from COM1. How and where do I change the settings so the RSG 430 talks to the 430 COM1 unit? I've been through the config files but can't find an answer. Help would be much appreciated! Thanks. November 13, 20205 yr That is in your RSG configuration --- I think they changed things in a recent update to their plugin....so in P3D from the Addon drop down open the RSG item. With it I think you now pick which COM unit it is supposed to be talking too. The old way required you edit an INI file and make the changes.... As for the RXP -- Shift Right click on the screen to get the menu to edit... See this video -- around the 5min mark where I make my 530 a number 2.... November 14, 20205 yr Author Thank-you Les. Much appreciated. Now all sorted. I’d missed the new almost greyed out +advanced options in the RXP aircraft setup. My RSG unit still was addressing the wrong COM2, but there is a new feature on the Add-ons/RealsimGear Device Interface 1.5.0.1 which enables you to switch between COM1 and COM2.
