November 15, 200619 yr HiI always thought this was a cargo version, given it's name, until i used it on a night flight and noticed all the cabin windows were lit up...is this a bug in FSX??? steve
November 15, 200619 yr I noticed that, too. They changed the general texture for the freight version (i.e. removing most windows), but forgot to adjust the lighting. After noticing that, I decided to do no more night freight flights. ;)
November 15, 200619 yr Possibly. Looks good at night though :)Even if it have passenger windows, you cannot ask ATC to taxi to a gate.
November 15, 200619 yr The model is that of the passenger 744 with the long uper deck. the 744F has a 747-200 style upper deck. However, let's just call the Global Freightways one a 744BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter) That's a 744 passenger converted to a side loading Freighter by Boeing.Tim

So you mean that all *purpose built* 747-400F's have the short upper deck?I wonder what Northwest Airlines Cargo's 747 freighters are. They're converting their 200's to freighters now, but they had some dedicated freighters already. I wonder if those were built as freighters or if they were converts also. ??RhettAMD 3700+ (@2530 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
