November 16, 20205 yr Hi, I've recently got a Thrustmaster TCA sidestick - I wanted the quadrant too but they're out of stock absolutely everywhere! I've been using it for merely a week or so and have noticed that the Z (twist) axis has a mind of its own. Even if you so much as touch the stick, the Z axis jitters and gives false movements. This is evident when viewing the axis in the Windows game controller properties, so not just in MSFS. I'm somewhat disappointed, but read this is a common problem with Thrustmaster sticks with twist action and is caused by the potentiometer inside usually either being fouled or making contact with one of the other wires that runs up inside the grip. I don't really want to RMA as these things are so hard to get hold of right now. My question is has anyone else had this and also has anyone had any luck taking these apart and fixing this issue?
