Need help with Carenado TBM 850 for P3D

Featured Replies

I recently purchased the Carenado TBM 850 for FSX/P3D and am running it on P3D v4.5 and v5.  There are a couple of issues I have with the aircraft.  First is the blasted Master Warning light that keeps coming on when I reduce my throttle.  I have done some searching on the web regarding this known issue and have found that the light comes on when the torque is reduced below 10 percent.  Unfortunately it is fairly impossible to control this as the throttle calibration on this aircraft, well I won't say it the way I would like to.  Suffice it to say the calibration is really messed up.  I calibrate my throttle but there is not change to the behavior.    The first half of my throttle movement does absolutely nothing.  Only after I get my physical throttle up to half way up does the engine start to respond.  Is there any way to change this behavior to that the engine is at zero percent when my throttle is at zero percent?  Also, is there any way I can modify the aircraft settings to keep this dang Master Warning light from constantly coming on?  Thank you.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I did find updated 2020 drivers for my Thrustmaster Flight Pack.  That helped a little but it's like the engine control only happens with the upper half of the throttle movement.  Almost anything below 50 percent physical throttle position does nothing.  Consequently the full engine range is controlled by only half of the throttle movement making adjustments very difficult.  A tiny throttle movement has a large effect.  It's like the throttle response is exponential instead of linear as I would think it should be.
