Sorry if this has been addressed, I have not uninstalled FS2004 and have a ton of ai. Can I just move these over to FSX and will it be a big FPS hit.

Yes they can be moved over. All AI will have a fps hit, FS9 or FSX.Keep in mind, that if you move FS9 AI over, there won't be any FSX AI at the same location. It seems that by design, Microsoft has disabled FSX AI when any FS9 AI are present at a given location.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2530 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian

At what point do you kill all the FS9 ones and install the FSX ones? It seems to me that if indeed this is disabled that many people won't be installing new AI until there is masses available. Unless someone can find a wait to overcome this limitation.
