November 16, 200619 yr We all know, and many if not most of us have experienced the wonderful logbook.bin corruption problem.. I've lost over 200 hours strung through 5 corrupted logbooks that I don't have the knowledge of hex editing to repair. With that in mind, what we need, is a program capable of finding and deleting only the corrupt entries. This way, only a single flight is lost, and people can continue on their existing logbooks with minimal loss. I know i am surely not the only person around thats beyond intimidated even thinking about hex editing :(Thoughts? Ideas?... ~Dark
November 18, 200619 yr Dark; What we need is for MS to put the Log book back the way it was. I don't remember anyone complaining about it the way it was so why did they change it?Like you I don't have the know how to get involved with HEX editors or any thing else like that. I never had any problems making my own manual entries into the Log Books and I don't need FSX doing it for me.maxsdad
