November 28, 20205 yr I don't remember seeing a thread about the effects of high resolution DEM after the USA update. I just wanted to say that in most places it looks absolutely stunning. While there are some problems with popping up to late so some details suddenly appear before my eyes, the detail can be breathtaking. Today I landed on top of Mt. Rainier and almost fell into a crevasse! Mountain ridges look super sharp and edgy, every detail of hills, valleys etc. are super exact. I really love that. Only ugly thing is that coastal lines can look ugly until I am near enough. Asobo might want to look into that.
