Set Master Caution / Warning Reset on physical module

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I'm having some trouble trying to configure FSUIPCP v6 on Prepar3D v4 to recognize the buttons "Master Caution" and "Warning Reset" on my physical module.

I tried this tutorial https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/512820-making-a-fsuipc-macro-tutorial/ because I cannot find the "button tag" on the list and I wonder I could create a Macro to attach some code on it, but I cannot find what is the correct "button tag" on FSUIPCP6.log

Does anyone know what's the "button tag" for these buttons?

What do you mean by 'button tag'? If you mean that you do not see a button number  in the assignment panel when you press the button (and your device is recognised), then it could be that the buttons are outside the assignable range (0-31). If that is the case, then you would need to use Lua to assign your button. There is a lua provided, called HidDemo.lua, which you can use and adapt to your needs.

If you mean the L:var to control the action, then that would be dependent on the aircraft being used and may not be available. If there is no suitable lvar available, you can use mouse macros instead.

If you require further help with FSUIPC6, please use the FSUIPC support forum: https://forum.simflight.com/forum/30-fsuipc-support-pete-dowson-modules/
