December 1, 20205 yr Hi all, just treated myself the great RealityXP. So far I really like the unit (especially great in VR, that`s why I got it in first place) unfortunately however I have a big issue with the RealityXP GTN 750 unit. When using it together with the vFlyte Air DHC-3T in single GPS mode, whatever I do (also added cpuaffinity to the .ini file) the unit does not really respond to my input and is very stuttery. It only happens however with this airplane, all my other addons so far work absolutely smoothly with it. My CPU is an AMD 7 3700X and have 32GB DDR4 3200 RAM - so that should not be a bottleneck as well. If helpful I can post the .ini file here as well. Anyone else experiencing that or knowing a solution? I found an old thread here that referred to it most likely being a Vulcan BETA issue back then. Thanks! Edited December 1, 20205 yr by zrh28
December 8, 20205 yr Author @RXP any way to contanct you or get a response on this matter? Thank you!
January 30, 20215 yr I'm sorry for the delay. These are a lot of plugins and I'll probably start trying this again with just the minimum plugins necessary for this aircraft and the GTN. The information you're providing doesn't show any particular issue with the GTN in terms of performance (281 us) but it shouldn't take this much fps (3.26). It is possible, given the other plugins fps values in the 2nd screenshot, you're running too much of them against your available video card memory. You might want to start removing librain and Therm-X to get started.
February 4, 20215 yr Author Hi Jean-Luc, thank you very much for your answer. I tested without any plugins and the same behaviour with this airplane unfortunately. Interestingly enough it is not laggy in VR (with all the plugins enabled!). Hence this must be something different as my GTX 1070 with 8GB VRAM can cope with it even in VR but not in 2D mode. There are also other reports of this, maybe together with their logs we can get onto something. Thanks again!
February 5, 20215 yr What is the NVIDIA Driver version you're using, and did you update your NVIDIA Driver between the time it used to work and now? Just for cross checking, can you compare how it runs if you set XP11 in OGL instead of Vulkan? Is your computer having both a NVidia and an embedded GPU (in the Intel CPU for example)? If so, can you cross check the RXP GTN User's Manual, Troubleshooting chapter, Discrete GPU topic?
