December 2, 20205 yr Hi, I came across a couple articles (below) a while back that explain that we can edit the building heights in Open Street Maps, and the changes will eventually show op in MSFS. If true, this is super cool. One area that I'd like to change is the Cancun Hotel Zone. Right now, the building footprints are being picked up, but the building heights don't exist. I did play with it for a couple minutes back when I originally discovered the articles, but I didn't save anything. If the changes I make are permanent, I want to be a little more thoughtful before I start editing things. I can come up with a pretty good estimate for most of the buildings. I know the area really well. For example, I know the Hyatt Zilara is 8 stories high, so using the average of 14 ft per story, I could edit the structure to be 112 ft high. Has anyone tried this with any other areas? If so, what was the experience like? Did your edits show up in MSFS eventually? December 3, 20205 yr Author Really surprised at the lack of responses. This sounds like a very simple way for anyone to edit scenery. No one has heard of this method at all?
