Starting VA Flights in VR

Featured Replies

My VA (FlyVirtual) uses simcars for recording flights. It doesnt let you start the flight until after X-Plane is open. The problem is, I use VR (for two days now) and once I get into the cockpit, I cant access simcars or anything on my desktop. Or at least I cant figure out how. How do you guys start VA flights in VR?

Hi,

I would think you take of your headset for a second, hit alt-tab (or the windows key) on your keyboard, do what you need to do (you can use any other program now) and then alt-tab back into X-Plane and put on your headset again.

You can even run X-Plane in a small window (it won´t matter if you use VR) so you don´t even need to alt-tab.

I guess I asked too soon. I figured it out. Was having problems figuring out switching the interface between XP11 and the Oculus Desktop. Still, when I go to desktop when on VR, the window flashes terribly. A known problem, I guess. Thanks, Janov.
