Jabiru J160/J170 added to Marketplace

Featured Replies

The Iris Simulations pack of two Jabiru Aircraft (J160 and J170) has been announced for the marketplace. The pack contains two distinct airframes and each airframe has a steam and a glass cockpit variant so 4 variants and quite good value for money.

These aircraft have been available for a while direct from Iris and on Orbx and most early teething issues seem to have been sorted quite quickly. The developer has stated some outstanding issues with over sensitivity to crosswind and in ground roll (particularly with flaps) and under heavy brakes along with some issues with stall behaviour at the edge of the envelope will be fixed once the SDK is updated. The next announced update/patch for this aircraft will be next month (January 2021) so support is ongoing.

Some random Jabiru videos I have already posted elsewhere (nothing has changed if you have already seen them) :

Are the Marketplace versions synced up with the latest versions available elsewhere?

You would assume there is the same delay as everything else on the marketplace.  If you are not trying to keep everything in one place you may be better off getting it direct from Iris or from Orbx as you will probably get updates faster.

However there are people wanting this aircraft that are trying to keep everything on the marketplace so for them this is a real bonus.
