A320 Throttles

Hi,

Finally got my hands on a Thrustmaster Airbus Quadrant at long last! Quite impressed with it to be fair, after I got all the sensitivities set up properly so that the detents match up in the stock A320.

One thing I just noticed is that it appears that only the engine 1 throttle actually affects thrust on both engines? If you just move engine 2 throttle, the bug moves on the engine display so it's definitely calibrated correctly, but the actual thrust doesn't increase with it. If you move engine 1 throttle on its own, both engines spool up.

Is this a bug?

I haven't got the kit to try this but suspect you need to tell the control system in MSFS to split the engine throttles over the two throttles rather than having one control all simultaneously. I can't try this as my hotas only has one throttle.

Hmm, I think I've worked it out.

It seems that when you idle the throttles during flare, it doesn't actually disconnect the auto-throttle. It would appear that when the auto-throttle is active only the engine 1 thrust lever controls thrust (on both engines).

When you disconnect the autothrottle by pressing the red button on the throttles, you get differential control back again.
