December 21, 20205 yr It is my understanding that when you shut down MSFS the content.xml registers what has been used at that specific point in time. I.E, if I come out of MSFS at say 12:30, my computer time, the content.xml file will give that time - yes/no? Well, I ask because mine does not and, moreover, when I start MSFS it should be with the content that was stated in the content.xml file and if e.g., you started at the airport where you logged out, the set up should be the same set up when you log back in - yes/no? Mine does not and loads something else in its place at that airport! For now, it doesn't matter that the content is incorrect, but more importantly why is there a change? What is the process that can be identified of how the content.xml is populated - what mechanism is at work here? For now the temporary remedy is to delete the content.xml file and let it re-manifest and 'build' itself at the next MSFS start up. Can someone with experience of this and has successfully dealt with it, shed some light on this for me please.
