I'm having some difficulties in getting my incremental decreases to work on my keyboard and/or HOTAS; I'm utilizing a Cougar HOTAS and seemingly have it profiled properly. The retract full/extend full F5 and F8 keyboard commands work properly as do the HOTAS assignments. However the incremental extend flaps (F6) do not function,.. same with the HOTAS assignment. Puzzling, I can get the incremental retract flaps to function, if I have them already extended. I've tried tweaking the controls with various assignments, but can't seem to get them to work properly, ... and end-up clearing and re-setting to default, where I back to where I started from. I tried it on various planes with the same result.I thought is was only my HOTAS profile that was a problem, but using the keyboard gives me the same result on the incremental extend/retract flaps. Any additional guidance will be appreciated.

Well, I'd like to report that I solved my problem with the flaps. The problem was my TrackIR was also using the F7 key for precision movement, changing that assignment inside the TrackIR software from F7 to (numpad *) solved my problem.
