Occasionally it is nice to switch to 2D cockpit view, knock the main instrument panel out of the way and then get a nice clear view ahead. Panning around is great but then once you've panned beyond a certain amount left or right the 3D view pops back into view. Does anyone know how to disable that so that one can pan 360 degrees without the cockpit view getting in the way?
