Chaseplane changing camera settings (ClipMode)?

Featured Replies

Hi Kevin!

Happy new year to you all!

Question:

Is chaseplane changing any camera.cfg settings/parameters? I am flying VR and having issues with objects shining through clouds and fog and only if chaseplane is active and installed.

Because it seems, that changing the clipmode (compared to the default P3D settings), this will cause issues with simobjects shining through fog/clouds.

When using chaseplane and vr, I have issues with this. When using default, removing the "new" damera.cfg chaseplane created, this issue seems not to appear anymore.

So chaseplane does probably use some other settings and this causes issues. But I am not sure about this.

Can you please check this out? I did hours and hours of hunting down this issue and end of story is that installing P3D again, deleting all generated files AND also Uninstalling chaseplane did the trick.

I installed chaseplane again and used it and the problem came back.

P3D latest build with EA mode on. Chaseplane "release candidates" is activated.

I am also having issues and I think it’s due to chaseplane  latest update with regards to scaling.

ive uninstalled reinstalled P3d v5.1

and to no avail

as soon as I rebuild cfg without chaseplane

its fine.

I then restart P3d and it’s ruined.
