November 29, 200619 yr In FSX, at dusk, the cities and roads do not light up. This takes away from beauty of dusk flight. (In FS9 the dusk and night textures were the same.) Has anyone fixed this problem? Is it doable?
November 29, 200619 yr Its not a problem or bug. It is part of the 24 hour thing they come on as time goes by a little at a time.
November 30, 200619 yr Go to night first, let it load then go to dusk. They do not work the same way as fs9, but I wish it did. This was talked about in another thread awhile back. If you fly around long enough if you select dusk first, eventually the lights do come on in sections. A little hokey if you ask me.Bob
November 30, 200619 yr It is a problem. In most cases, when dusk is selected the terrain is quite dark. In the real world the lights would be on. But in FSX the lights stay off for maybe up to another thirty minutes or an hour. This is clearly unrealistic. It was not a problem in FS9.This is a real shame as the combination of dusk sky lighting and ground lighting can be very nice.Best regards, Chris
