What is it with Amazon cancelling orders for items still very much in production? They did that for my Honeycomb Alpha order and told me the Airbus pack was unavailable on the day it had been due for delivery[\I] and now they cancel this one too. 😠🤬

Oh, they are suddenly sensitive to criticism! How many thousands of reviews of products relate to the service rather than the product? Yet they have said this about mine:

Another order cancelled by Amazon!
Normally I disagree with reviewing the service or seller rather than the product. However, Amazon have now messed me about TWICE with this product. First, they claimed it was "not in stock" ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY, and this time they have cancelled my order as the...

I can't remember the wording of the rest of the review, but I can promise you there was no swearing or otherwise inappropriate wording. They've clearly used the "review the product, not the service" excuse to censor my criticism.🙄 Not exactly covering themselves with glory, failing to supply 2 products a total of 3 times, claiming it's no longer available to order from the supplier (i.e. Aerosoft) despite that not being true.

I've been waiting a month or so for my Bravo Throttle unit from Amazon. Still nothing on their website under my orders for dates. I expect they'll cancel it before too long.

A week short of three months for my Bravo. Counting down the days... till the predicted "no longer available" cop-out cancellation.🙄

incredibly, they actually did deliver the Logitech Pro rudder pedals I ordered on December 22nd. Arrived on Thursday - with the delivery labels and sellotape attached to the retail box - no outer box to protect it!🤬 Nice tear/dent in the box. Product thankfully undamaged.

There is nothing worse than products delivered like that. We had a Bread bin that came the same way, huge dent in it. Complained and they sent another right away. I think they are sent direct from the seller that way to save time on delayed orders. if they got to the fulfillment centre the damaged ones would be weeded out and they would be packaged properly. Often they go in bulk to Amazon so packing is a lot better when its 20 in a crate.

I'd have sent it back if it weren't for the fact it went out of stock again after I'd ordered it. I'd waited long enough to get hold of any flight control hardware so I wasn't prepared to wait possibly months longer. Thankfully I have managed to order the Airbus Pack from Box as soon as I got the in stock email. Should be here no later than Thursday 28th.

Edit: And I've received an email this evening that the Airbus Pack is ready for dispatch, just to be collected by the courier.👍

Excellent. I'm just waiting till our Lockdown finishes and I'll be able to build up my DofReality P6 finally. It's been in the boxes since it arrived in April! Crazy really. I have no motion compensation as yet and only a Rift S to use but with a RTX2080 I can't run a Reverb even if I wanted to.

I haven't flown since end of October so it's time to scratch that itch....

Well, that was great timing...

I had literally just switched off my engines after completing a 15 hour flight from Belize to RAF Brize Norton when the doorbell rang. There was the courier with my Airbus TCA pack!🤗 Finally I am back to having a proper control setup for flight-simming. Still to play about with button assignments but I made a brief in pattern flight with a smooth experience from start to finish.

Now I'm just waitint for an email to say I'm at the top of the queue for my Fulcrum Yoke order, and for Amazon to hopefully get me a Honeycomb Bravo quadrant (providing they don't cancel that order too.🤨).
