Can't update Xclass USA

Featured Replies

Hi,The 1.01 installer prevents me from applying the update:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/162396.jpgAny ideas, anyone? I do have version 1.00 installed.I tried switching around the readme files, but same result. Very strange, to say the least :(MikeEdit: Also, I notice there is no Texture folder under XCLUS, whereas there is under XCLEU. In FS9 (LandClass) we removed the texture folders as a matter of course. is it necessary to do the same in FSX?

I went to the fsx/cloud9/xclus folder and deleted the readme.txtInstalls fine after that.

Ditto, just remove the readme.txt and leggimi.txt files if they are in the FSX/cloud9/XCLUS folder it will install just fine after that... and it looks great too!!. Nice, fast update. These guys are great!

Hi Mike, see my "investigation" here: http://forum.fscloud9.it/viewtopic.php?t=3934The main concern with parallel "texture" folders for land class add-ons - out-of-memory crashes - seems to have disappeared but there are still some odd file calls. In any case, an empty texture folder is unneccessary, which is probably why Cloud9 decided to drop it.Cheers, Holger
