January 18, 20215 yr I took the Flybywire A320 Northwest airlines livery from Chicago to San Diego then on to Honolulu and taxi to the gates, there were four or five other NWA a320's exactly like mine sitting at the gates. Northwest Airlines hasn't flown in more than ten years, they merged with Delta. I would have took a screen shot but forgot how as I haven't made one in more than ten years. Anyone else?
January 18, 20215 yr I believe that depending on what the livery author puts into their .xml files, you can end up with 'over population' of liveries into the ground aircraft. I've seen this happen with modded aircraft as well. There are setting that determine how often a given aircraft or livery shows up and if they are set too high, you see tons of them. January 18, 20215 yr The sim randomly chooses AI planes from the available liveries you currently have loaded. If you add a new aircraft and the liveries are AI enabled you will start seeing that aircraft. The more liveries it has the more of that aircraft you see. If you do not want the AI to use a particular livery you can edit a file in the livery folder that disables it for AI use. This can cause a few oddities if you install an unusual plane with a lot of liveries. In my game the entire planet was infested with Grumman Goose and Jabiru GA aircraft at one stage 😄 Fortunately the liveries for my Bleriot XI seem to have the AI disabled by the dev. Otherwise spawning at the parking at O'Hare or JFK and seeing Bleriots everywhere would be disconcerting to say the least. Edited January 18, 20215 yr by Glenn Fitzpatrick
