RXP GTN 750 installed but black screen

Featured Replies

Hi there,

Just recently installed the GTN750 into P3D v4, but when I loaded into the sim the screen for the GTN was completely black even when aircraft was powered up (power was set to Always On in settings). This wasn't just the physical unit in the Carenado ATR, but also in the RXP popups. I also tried with other aircraft and the popups in them were also completely black.

I have tried reinstalling the RXP itself a few times and I've also removed the GTN Trainer and reinstalled that. However, when I ran the installer, it finished after 2 or 3 seconds and has not actually installed any files. Now, when I go to reinstall the trainer, it tells me I have to uninstall the current version first, however there is no way to do this as there is no uninstaller and no files.

Not entirely sure how to fix this but means the GTN is unusable so any help would be appreciated,

Thanks,
Alistair.

I suggest you back up to the selection of RXP related forums here and then read through recent topics in this RXP FSX/P3D GTN forum and also read through recent topics in the RXP xPlane GTN forums.  There are a number of topics and solutions that may be related to your issue.  It is just too tedious for other users here to type the same responses over and over.  You may find your solution in minutes rather than waiting for days for responses to a repetitive question.
