When MSFS 2020 starts, I set up my preferences and then apply and save.   After quitting the game and then starting it the next time, the preferences have gone back to default.  Why is the game not saving them ?

Exactly getting the same thing.  Does the game also ask you if you accept the terms and , bla, bla, bla?  Its like going through the motions after a complete re-install.
