January 29, 20215 yr Has anyone had success in getting the Sony PSVR working with FS2020 in proper VR mode? I tried yesterday and managed to get FS2020 started in VR mode using the iVRy driver, however it was not proper VR rather it was in cinematic mode which is bascially useless for VR immersion as it just looks like you are looking at a cinema screen. When I try switching to VR mode within FS2020 using CTRL TAB, FS2020 just closes. The SteamVR home room works just fine in proper VR mode, so it's not like the PSVR can't do real VR on a PC. Any suggestions? 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
January 30, 20215 yr Author I found a solution. You need to disable Steam launching games in cinematic VR mode by going to Steam Settings > "In Game" > and unchecking "Use Desktop Game Theater when launching games while SteamVR is active". The game launches on your primary screen then, when you have loaded a flight, hit CTRL TAB and it switches to proper VR mode with PSVR, yay! Now I just have to work out how to make cockpit text readable, but otherwise it's pretty good. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
