P3Dv5 Joystick and Chasplane not working after 6 hours

Featured Replies

Afternoon everyone!

I hope you are all well! I have come to the forums to hopefully find some answers! Okay so I installed for the first time P3Dv5 onto my computer. Everything was great, completed some European hops etc etc. Then I went on to a long haul last night. EGLL - KIAD in QW789. About 30mins from T/D I noticed the aircraft not following autopilot, joystick inputs would not work, Chaseplane would not function (even after a restart of Chaseplane) Vpilot would also not respond.

I don't have any logs of any description as the issue didnt produce any. Strange hey! I have had a search on LM forums but nothing of an answer or a fix so I thought I would ask here first!

Thanks guys!

Have you any (USB) Powerplans active which disables your USB Ports and your controls? (Device Manager - HID -  Right Click at the device - Select Properties - Select Power Management - Disable "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power")

Hey Marcus,

Thankyou for the response, I do not have any of that applied.
