February 16, 20215 yr Just picked up OpusFSI from F1 - not sure where to get support so trying here first. I am getting the dreaded SlimDX.dll crash on startup. I have tried sharing permissions, making sure it can write into the folder where it's installed. I edited properties of the P3DSERVER.exe file to ensure it's run as Admin. it's installed to: C:\OpusFSI_v6 Is there a forum for support from OpusFSI? I could not find anything on their site. thanks Daniel Brum
February 16, 20215 yr Hi Daniel, From Flight1.com webpage you have an option for Support -> Technical Support for Products -> https://www.simforums.com/ -> https://www.simforums.com/forums/ At the bottom you have the Opus support forum: https://www.simforums.com/forums/opus-software_forum49.html I think you need to register in the Flight1 forum. Hope this help. Jose Serro
February 16, 20215 yr There should be a SlimDX installer within the OpusFSI directory, have you tried that? As far as support is concerned, their dedicated forum is here, and they're typically very helpful and quick to respond.

So if running this on the same machine as p3d - I only need to run the p3dserver is that right? It will update the weather (all I am using it for atm). I don't need to run the 'client' right? Exactly, the client component is only needed if you're running networked machines to display different views, etc.
