Tracing Aerosoft Airbus LVARS

Featured Replies

I'm using P3D v4.5 FSUIPC 5.153 Linda 3.1.1 and trying to trace the LVARS for the Aerosoft Airbus.  Log Lua events is selected in the console window

I've followed the advcie in numerous posts but the only lines I get in the console window begin with  Lockheeed or General or Local: irr or even Local Name = MW_1087  ??

What am I doing wrong?

thanks

Geoff

Have you turned Developer mode on? This is now done by turning on Fault Diagnosis Mode under Maintenance.

For Tracing to work you need to put LINDA into Fault Diagnosis Mode (via Maintenance page) with Verbose logging (open LINDA Console) with GUI and LUA selected. Then select the LINDA Tracer and reload Lvars list.

This should display a full set of Lvars which for the Aerosoft Airbus should have the prefix AB_. You can Filter the Lvars to find you one you are looking for. Click on a Lvars name to display its current value in the Console and click Start/Stop to show the value changing or not.

It is also helpful to reload the LUA Engine by clicking on the link.
