Learning my ways around my new MSFS, I have problems switching views and pausing.  Those keys seem to work intermittently and I am not keen to blame a brand new keyboard just yet.  I have also seen that happen, much less frequently, with the INS key.  I thought it might have to do with the windows focus so I make sure to click on the sim display before attempting an input.

I am going to assign hardware buttons with FSUIPC but am curious to know if anybody else has that problem and, better still, an explanation.

Update.     I have assigned those keys to H/W buttons and the problem is still there.   I must be doing something wrong...

Hints, anyone?

SOLVED.    It was just a coincidence of senior moments.  I kept looking at the default k/b assignments instead of MY keyboard, where somehow some bindings had been screwed up.  All OK now.
