Control Sensitivity set to 0 when transfer control in multiplayer?

Featured Replies

Hi,I'm having a problem in multiplayer. I was testing two computers running FSX multiplayer network flying Tim Conrad's UPF-7 with shared cockpit. It was working great (once I figured out that in order to join the cockpit of another plane I have to unclick share my aircaft (dumb!)), until I tried transferring control from one plane to another (shift-T). Once I did that the sensitivity of the XBox 360 controller I was using acted like the sensitivity of the elevator and aileron control was set to zero and large motions only translated to barely moving the control surfaces, making plane control nearly impossible. Funny thing is, other controls were not affected, rudder worked great, as did the view controls. When I switched control back to the host computer, it had the same problem. Anyone else run into this? Is there a fix? Recalibrating the controller didn't work, and, of course, they turn off all ability to access both help and the options settings menus when in multiplayer (dumb, dumb, dumb!). I didn't try disconnecting the controller and reconnecting. I'll try that now.Hope somebody's got a workaround or can tell me !Thanks,Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180

Well, I wasn't able to replicate the problem here, but the person who's computer I'm borrowing has the other XBox 360 controller, so I was using an XBox controller on one machine and keyboard on the other. I'll update as soon as I get another controller.BTW, I forgot to mention that both computers were using Xbox 360 controllers.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180

That's funny, as I noted, my rudder was fine. Kind of a pain that it chose to kill sensitivity on the main flight controls for me.I'll keep checking into it.Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180
